14U CHANGE: Due to team drops, we are no longer using North Springs Park for 14U. All 14U teams will be at Flight/Plex.

RULES & FORMATS

All matches start at zero EXCEPT the one five team pool that we have will start at 6 for each game.

Matches are best of three except the five team pool plays only 2 sets.

Pool play matches will have a 2-point cap.

Playoff brackets will start at zero. No cap.

We reserve the right to modify formats.

OFFICIATING DUTIES (IMPORTANT)

Coaches and teams, we need your help. Due to a shortage with officials this weekend, many sites will only have 1 official for 2 courts.

There are a couple of locations that will be fully staffed.

For locations with only 1 official, this official will officiate 2 matches on one court, take a break, ref 2 matches on the other court, and then officiate play-offs for the higher divisions.

Coaches, please be prepared to provide an R1 from your team in addition to your normal work crew.

Since this is a POWER tournament, each coach should USE his/her best work crew.

Please remind your teams about the importance of doing a good job officiating.

A rostered adult MUST be court side in case of an issue.

Be sure to start warm-ups immediately after each match and to check proper completion of the score sheets.

ALL COACHES ARE ASKED TO KEEP THINGS GOING!!!

We understand the officials shortage is not ideal, but Luis, the PVA officials chair, has done his best to fill officials this weekend.

He is just having a harder time due to spring break for our younger officials. Thank you for your help. We truly appreciate your assistance.
