The Charleston January Jam is NOT a Stay to Play tournament. However, we have contracted with local hotels to provide discounted rates. The host hotel for the Charleston January Jam is the Embassy Suites North Charleston. Directly connected to the convention center, the Embassy Suites offers an ideal location for teams attending the tournaments.

The Charleston January Jam is a power division tournament, held January 7-8, 2023. Registration will be available on Advanced Event Systems, and with 15 courts at the beautiful North Charleston Convention Center and North Charleston Athletic Center, we will be able to accommodate 120 teams. First referees will be provided. Teams will have a guaranteed 5 matches over the weekend.

Divisions offered will be:

12 Power (minimum of 8 teams required)
13 Power
14 Power
15 Power
16 Power
17 Power
18 Power
*divisions may be combined at the sole discretion of the tournament director.

Play on Saturday will be divided into AM and PM waves. All teams will advance to playoffs on Sunday.

Rosters: Print out and turn in a USAV SportsEngine roster to tournament director/officials. One will be required a check in and one will be turned it to your court official at the start of each day of play. Since this is a two day tournament, at least three SportsEngine rosters are required to be had by each team.
